Found abandoned by their mother on October 14, my cousin and his parents took Chloe and her brother in and tried to find homes for them. Her blue and white brother quickly found a home, and I cleverly managed to get Chloe into our family, her coming home with us on October 21st. She’s a blue tortie tabby with white, and quite a bit of trouble, but also the sweetest thing. She’s approaching nine weeks or so in this photo.

Taken back in spring of ‘07, this is my cat Meer who I miss dearly! He stayed with my parents when I moved out on my own. Little Meer had about 100 names before we finally decided on one for him! He’s been Samuel L. Jackson, King Leonidas, and “That Cat”. We thought he would remain nameless forever, but the nickname of Meer stuck with him! I bet you can guess, it’s because he’s a real talker!

Hermes is just seven weeks old in this picture. He was one of a litter of four boys. Hermes is a silver-shaded purebred American Shorthair. His fur is very thick, almost like having two coats, and his cute feet are all black on the bottom! He is very expressive with his body and tail, and often gives us “drive-by” full-body nudges as he passes through the room.

Meet Feeny. He is Momma’s little helper, doing the laundry without me even having to ask! Let’s just ignore the small fact that he chose the potty to do it in. Feeny was adopted from a shelter when he was young. He was very skittish and scared for months, but the more we showered him with love, the more he gave back. Now he is the perfect gentleman, although he still has a mischievous side that will never go away! That’s okay, I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Missie (short for Mischief) is my three-month old kitten and she is absolutely gorgeous. She loves to play with anything she can get her little white paws on (her favourite toy is Mr Monkey), and she especially loves to skate along the wooden floors in the living room and hallway. She is a great companion and she loves it when I give her lots of attention, especially rubbing underneath her chin, which usually sends her straight to sleep. When I’m eating, she always tries to get her fair share, but soon remembers that she has her own food and runs over to her bowl to eat. Missie is a really happy cat - she never cries or looks sad - and the older she gets, the more she lives up to her name!

Angie is a sweet little girl. I adopted her and her brother from a small apartment that housed seven full sized cats, and the litter of kittens they came from. She’s two months old in this picture, but they are now beautiful six month old babies.

This is my sister’s kitten Lola. This pic was taken when she was six weeks old. She looks like she is being told off! I love it.

Here is our little dream, known as Cupcake by her original owner. Our sons felt she needed a goddess name! Athena is the sweetest baby kitten. After years of taking in rescues and ferals, we treated ourselves to a scottish fold. She is good natured, loving, and sweet. Getting along with her 8 brothers and sisters (seven of whom are rescue kitties) required no adjustment period whatsoever. There is plenty of love to go around for all of them.
