Chewy was a feral kitten born to a feral mommy cat, Taz, who lives in our yard. Chewy is a tiny clone of his mom who got his name from having such a frazzle of Chewbacca fur that when we first saw him, we called him a little wookie. Taz brought Chewy to us along with his brothers Ziggy and Puffy George and we were able to domesticate them and find them good homes. Chewy has always been small for his age and in this picture he is about nine weeks old and only weighs about one pound. We love our little Chewy wookie man!

Baxter was adopted from a rescue foundation after his mother gave birth to him and four sisters only one week after being brought in. Since his mom was a stray, his dad was never seen. So we don't know what breed Baxter is. His mom was a Spitz mix, and we think his dad may have been a husky. Baxter loves to play with ice cubes and paws at everything like he is a cat. He also loves to play with all his puppy friends in puppy class!

This kitty is about four months old. His mom is a stray in the neighborhood that I often feed. I’ve tried to catch him but he’s too quick!

Yogi is a peke-a-poo puppy. He is an absolute joy to have in the house! He loves our kids and waits for them by their door every morning. His favorite thing to do is to run around the backyard chasing leaves until he poops out.

Addie loves playing with her toys, taking walks around the neighborhood to see all of her friends and annoying her big sister Zoe, a 14-year-old Dachshund. Addie attended puppy class and graduated with flying colors. At six months old she will begin obedience training and plans on becoming a Canine Good Citizen and a therapy dog. She has many tricks, and her best ones include the shake, catching a treat in her mouth, and her yuppy puppy treat dispenser.

I had never owned a kitty, until one day I found my little Sox sitting on my doorstep. She was so tiny, only about five or six weeks old. I think SHE picked ME. She’s named Sox because of my favorite baseball team, the Chicago White Sox, and because she has white feet. Incidentally, after I found her, the White Sox went on to win the World Series that year (2005).

Trigger is one spoiled pup! He has no brothers or sisters at the moment, so all eyes are on him. Trigger is very energetic and never ceases to make us laugh. He has such a big, lovable personality that can always put a smile on your face. Since the day we knew he was ours he has melted our hearts. We are so happy to have him as part of our family and look forward to the many wonderful years ahead with him!

My mom saw one of the ferel cats on her farm taking kittens and dropping them on the other side of a fence. She grabbed this one before it was taking by the mother. Now we have to get him litter trained and eating kitty food and hopefully find him a good home.

We adopted Sadie from the Humane Society in Indiana. Her litter had been abandoned. We had to drive a ways to adopt her, but that drive was so worth it! She is a playful pup, but also loving and affectionate. She is also a smart little girl; she is potty trained already and understands several commands. Her shelter name was Gracie. So in honor of the Humane Society listing her on Petfinder so we could find her, we kept part of that name and named her Sadie Grace. We are thrilled Sadie is part of our family.
