This is Frida. Only three and a half months old, and already a gangsta…

Keeper was found running across a highway as I braked to miss her. She tried to hide in some leaves when I rescued her. She was only about six weeks old. After a fruitless search for an owner, she was brought home with intentions of finding her a home. Our vet aptly named her Keeper, and she's been a total joy. She loves to bounce across the floor to fetch. She entertains herself and adores belly-rubs. She must have always been outside, because she knows what grass is for, and was immediately housebroken. She loves everyone she meets. Sometimes I think she was just dropped from the sky into my lap and she was meant to be mine. She's five now, but I treasure these pup pictures.

This is a picture of my wonderful six week old kitten Bizzy. I got her last week at my Local SPCA and she’s the perfect balance of playful and cuddly! She follows me everywhere and she LOVES being in my shoes. She has the softest cutest fur I’ve ever seen, it’s mostly black but looks very red in pictures and she’s very smart. She’s already figured out that the best way for her to get my attention is to lie down on my keyboard.

Zara is our precious red fox Labrador who loves wading in water and sitting in a warm spot in the sun. She adores meeting new people and crunching ice cubes on a hot summer day. Zara never chews shoes, but she does occasionally steal pea pods out of the garden! She has tons of energy and loves to go on long walks or play Frisbee in the park. In addition to being a cutie, she is also incredibly smart. Zara knows the names of all her toys and can even clean them up if she is asked. She is a wonderful dog -- we can't remember what our lives were like before she came into it. She melts our hearts every day.

Here is Poppy Montgomery, our cute kitten. She was adopted last week after our Lola, aged 15, died last summer. She plays a lot and likes breaking things in the house! We hope she’ll get along well with Athenon, the other cat!

Henry has many nicknames, but we frequently call him "blender" because of his Blenheim coloring. He loves to romp around in the backyard with his dog brothers, a pug and a Labrador. He also enjoys playing with his toys, going for walks, chasing butterflies and spying on birds. Henry will happily go on any car ride and is always up for an adventure. However, his absolute favorite thing to do is cuddle. Everyone that meets Henry falls in love, and the feeling is mutual. He wants to cuddle and give kisses to every human that crosses his path.

This is Neko, my four month old kitten. He is absolutly adorable and he is always making me laugh! When he is not sleeping he is playing! He now has his big sister (a six year old Calico Cat) playing with him too! It is fun to watch the two of them. We are a happy family.

Alexandra is a playful, lovable, and adventurous new member of our family. She loves being outdoors, exploring, and chewing on anything but her toys. She spends her days sleeping, lying under the shade of the bushes and eating sticks, and playing with her big brother, Clyde, an eight year old basset hound. Al loves to jump on top of Clyde and tackle him to the ground. She tugs at his collar to play and nibbles on his long ears. Poor Clyde has so much patience for energetic little Al. Hopefully, she'll be as mellow and lazy as him one day. Alexandra has truly been a blessing and every day she captures us with her cute wrinkly face and long ears.

We are babysitting our granddaughter Delilah, who we have nicknamed ‘Longstocking’ due to the unusual ‘pigtails’ that extend from below her ears. Our daughter chose Delilah from a litter at our local shelter. She is a sweet, purring machine.

We adopted Linus from the Wisconsin Humane Society during a tornado warning, and a tornado is a great way to describe this little guy! He has so much energy! Catahoulas are very rare in this part of the country (slightly less so since Hurricane Katrina), so we were very lucky to have found him. Linus is very popular at daycare, and he loves playing with other puppies. He enjoys eating peanut butter, chewing on bones and snuggling, but his favorite hobby is mimicking his big sister cat, Penelope. He always steals her glitter balls and shaker mice, sleeps on her playhouse, tries to eat her treats, and even chases a laser pointer! Though he can be naughty sometimes (he's a digger and loves eating dirt), one look at those big brown eyes and all is forgiven!
