Star, Teddi, Uvy & Fritz

These cuties were found in the eave of my shop at about two and a half weeks old. “Hurry, formula, we must save them for the forever homes!” The are as sweet as any bottle-fed babies I’ve ever met. The picture is of them at approximately six weeks old. They are now eight+ weeks, altered and ready to bring you big love!

Tessie-the-Mixed-Breed puppy
Tessie is three months old and is a mix of a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and a Bichon Frise. She is full of puppy energy and loves to run around the pool outside and then find a nice stick to chew on while laying under a tree. She is cuddly, smart, playful and loving. She loves to be around people and go for trips in the car. Tessie is my and my husband’s first puppy together and we couldn’t have asked for a better pup!

Pufo & Liza

Pufo (grey) and Liza (orange) are brother and sister. They are kittens of a cat that has a very bad owner, that didn’t even fed them. So we took kittens home, although very young, but otherwise they would die, because they lived in a dirty garage, even without water. Pufo is very very tiny, only bones and fur, Liza is better. But Pufo eats a lot so he will soon be fine. When they are old enough, they will be looking for a new home.

Macksie-the-Irish-Terrier puppy
It’s my pleasure to introduce Macksie Malone, our Irish Terrier. Macksie is almost four months old, and she’s been such a joy to have around. She has a very sweet temperament and gets along great with her big brother and sister in the extended family. We’ve determined that she has two speeds - she can be quite calm then suddenly she’s a little ball of energy! Macksie thinks the purpose of her water bowl is to cool off her paws, and she loves to “fly” off the couch, bed, or anything else she can leap from!

Marlow-the-Rottweiler puppy
Marlow came to us on vacation last summer. People have always commented on how gentle and calm he is ever since he was tiny pup. Today he is a 100-pound rottie teenager with the same disposition. He loves to play with other dogs and people but specially loves puppies and young children. When Marlow was a puppy, his best bud was a cat named Bubbah, whom he misses. Marlow grew up going for walks along busy downtown city streets and sidewalks but now lives in a much quieter neighborhood with his new foster sister, Mariah.

Maya

Maya is super precocious and loves to play with her sisters Inca and Lima (like the capital of Peru) or in any place or with anything she can find. Here she is inside a terrarium we received as a wedding gift. We couldn’t decide what types of plants to put in there so we opened it up to kittens. We have now removed the glass from all sides and the kittens love to curl up inside and take naps.

Slade-the-Weimaraner puppy
Slade loves all people, sucking on his stuffed toys, food, and most of all, being a ham. He has a personality that keeps you laughing every day. He is a very smart boy. By 10 weeks old, he knew: “sit”, “down”, “stay” and “come”, and he is now starting to train for his career in the show ring. It is my first time showing a dog, so it’s a learning experience for both of us! I think he’ll do great, because he loves being the center of attention. Slade loves people of all ages - especially kids. He loves to give them the “nubbin wag” and place little kisses on small faces and hands. And he gets plenty of attention when he’s out in public! Everyone loves the color of his coat and his blue eyes, and they love to ask about him and know what breed he is (even if they can never pronounce it!).

Orange Kid

He’s an adorable little guy with those BLUE eyes, maybe we should name him Frankie after Frank Sinatra. His mama is a feral kitty who came to eat during an April blizzard and we were able to get her to stay and have her babies and we have enjoyed them every day.

Phiz-the-Border-Terrier puppy
Phiz is from Cambridgeshire, England. She loves long walk in the woods, eating lots of carrots, playing football (soccer) with the boys, and digging in the sand. Phiz is less enthusiastic about the rain, baths and, manicures. Her deepest aspiration is to be the first female to play in the FIFA world cup of football. Her best friend is the neighbor’s cat, Blanco, who comes over every day for a game of tag. Blanco is always “it.”
