Alvin

This is Alvin…he and 10 other kittens were rescued from a mink farm in Illinois. Alvin is a MUNCHKIN and is about 6 1/2 weeks old here. I am fostering five other Munchkins, a Siamese and a little black female from this group. They are a riot!

Roux-the-Dogue-de-Bordeaux puppy
Roux is a Dogue de Bordeaux. He has already doubled in weight since we got him in May, and he is expected to get to about 160 pounds! He was part of a litter of 10, which is unusual for the Bordeaux breed. He has been a great companion to our Westie, besides dragging her around by her collar, and a gentle soul to our cat and visitors. His mellow personality gets compliments from all ages, and when he rides in the bicycle basket he literally stops traffic on the Venice Boardwalk. He has been a spectacular addition to our family.

 Show Hide Congocoon's King Maximus Grandma's One-In-A-Million

Hello my feline and human TDK family members! My Name is Congocoon’s King Maximus Grandma’s One-In-A-Million! LV has been posting info on me for some time on the threads keeping everyone updated on me! First that she picked me, then the picture you are all seeing now posted causing oohs and aahs followed by thuds because they forgot their COA devices. Then the trials of getting booked for flight to Mommy. Well, finally a date has been set and I get to meet Mommy in person away from the TDK’s wormholes. I will be arriving June 13th. Friday the 13th heehee. It will surely be Mommy’s best day ever. you see she has waited patiently for 15 to get another kitty and I’m the lucky one. I have it on good account my mommy has got me loads of toys and a nice cat tree nd a big playpen to stay safe while she is at work until I get comfy in my new home. I will be oh so cute, adored, loved… shhh… and worshipped by all. I already have many TDK’ers wrapped around my full brushy/bushy tail.

Hey KM! Nice to meet you! I’m Max-Max, Sir Maximus Spoiledalot! Look into my sweet face and ignore the device behind me. I am a sweet and innocent kitten. I’m not up to anything. Max-Max looks at mommy like that mommy? You think I fooled them!

Max-Max has been a true blessing and driving me crazy until June 13th arrives and I get to cuddle him for the first time!

Deuce-the-Australian-Shepherd puppy
Deuce E. Bear, our Aussie. You can look at him and see why he got his name. He is the sweetest Aussie ever. Very laid back, polite, friendly and playful. He’s smart as the breed makes them, and he loves his friend Tinker (our other Aussie). He was different than the typical Aussie in looks, and we knew we had to have him join our family after seeing a picture of those eyes and cute little lips. He is a doll!

lila

This is our Lila. I waited 1-1/2 years for her after we lost our last precious kitty of 17 years. This picture is right after we adopted her from the local Animal Control. Right after this picture was taken Lila got sick and we almost lost her. With trips to the vets office and lots and lots of prayers from many people, Lila is still with us and just full of joy, energy, and plenty of playfulness. She is my JOY!!

Penny-the-Maltese puppy
Penny lights up our lives. We found her after a lengthy puppy search. Amazingly she was born 10 minutes from our house. We just bought a new house in July and it felt empty until Penny came into our lives. She’s spoiled rotten and her favorite color is pink. She is smart, sweet, and loving (and fast when she knows it’s time to go in her crate!). She makes friends wherever she goes and loves to play fetch with her squeak toys. She likes to inform us when people are outside, and will gladly sit, give paw, stand, lay down, or roll over for a treat. Sometimes we think she’s part feline because her favorite place to cuddle up for a nap (besides our laps) is the top of our sofa. We love our lucky little Penny and are so happy to have her!

Toad-the-Cattle-Dog-Mix puppy
We adopted Toad so our Vizsla, Turkey, would have a playmate. He came from a very large family and missed having a constant canine companion. We started searching on Petfinder.com for availiable puppies at local shelters. We searched for about two or three weeks and then we found Toad’s picture. She was six weeks old and in a shelter in Tennessee. When we read that she was scheduled for euthanasia because of a lack of space, we knew we had to rescue her. She has been a great addition to our family; she and Turkey absolutely adore each other. She is a hilarious little dog. When she gets excited, she makes crazy hyena sounds. Sometimes we think she is part hyena!

Lucy-Loo-the-Labrador-Mix puppy
Lucy was found by a nice stranger who brought her to the local humane society. All but one of her litter mates were drowned. She came home with me when she was just seven weeks old. Lucy likes to chase Pete the cat and go on car rides. One of her favorite activities is to dig in the garden and play with her empty milk jug! She has a very outgoing personality and gets along great with other dogs and humans. She is quite smart and in the top of her class in puppy kindergarten.
