CatPuppy!

One of my co-workers adopted this sweet baby from the local humane society. He’s about 10 weeks old and is so full of love.

Tessie is the sweetest dog we know. We rescued her through the Save-a-Sato program from Puerto Rico. She was very timid and shy when we got her at three months old, but she has come a very long way! She loves other dogs, especially her pointer mix brother Skippy. She loves to be outside taking a long walk through the woods or digging a nice big hole in the yard. She enjoys playing with bully sticks and anything that Skippy is playing with. She gives big kisses and loves to cuddle on the couch. Tessie is a wonderful girl and I am so glad we found her!

I adopted Sierra and Willie in 2004. I only intended on getting Sierra as a playmate for my older orange tabby cat, Sunshine. However, Willie was brought along when I went to pick up Sierra. One look at him, and somebody walking by and telling us that it is better to have two cats together, sealed the deal and I adopted him too! They have brought great joy to my life.

Ricky Nelson is a puppy who already thinks he’s a grown up dog. He enjoys chasing leaves and ankles, stopping people on the street, and trying to keep up with the big dogs. He is learning how to swim, walk down stairs, and follow directions. He can already sit and lie down on command (when there aren’t more interesting things to do), and he is just discovering the joys of walking on a leash.

When Rumbles lost his brother, we couldn’t bear his misery so we got him a new brother named Raro. He was named after Rarotonga, the island that we were on when our other dog passed away. Raro’s favorite activities include biting plants, digging holes in the lawn, and copying everything that Rumbles does. Raro is bright and bouncy, and his enthusiasm has definitely cheered Rumbles up!

Ellie when she was only seven weeks old… and oh so adorable!

Roger is a sweet and curious Irish Terrier. He loves to investigate, explore, and play but can also nap and cuddle like a pro. He especially likes to sleep on his back with paws in the air. He loves being outdoors so he can attack plants or sun his belly. Roger can can “sit,” “down,” and “stay” as long as there is food around. He adores people and meeting new dog friends. The world is all about play and new adventures for Roger. He is growing and learning very quickly!

This is Maia. I adopted her a week ago from the animal control services here in San Antonio. She’s about six or seven weeks, and weighs only 1.6 pounds. She has made a perfect addition my two cat family. She has quite a personality and makes me smile hundreds of times a day. I think she’s absolutely adorable, so I wanted to share her with the world. But, I guess I could be a little biased.
