We adopted Chloe, our first fur baby, from our local animal shelter when she was just about five months old. She turned out to be a very funny and very sweet little kitten. Although, now that she is a little over two years old, she’s not that little anymore! We now call her “little miss fat and sassy” and she loves bossing around her new little fur sister.

My name is Kenji and I am a Shiba Inu. A lot of people I meet tell me that I look like a fox. I think I do too, and I also like to think I’m just as sly. I love my people and the treats they give me. Sometimes I get too big for my britches, but it’s just because I’m a pup.

This is Misty when she was about four or five weeks old. I rescued her from a feral litter and this toy bunny was her favorite thing to snuggle with. She is now almost a year old and loves to be outside and especially loves to climb and jump, but I think her favorite game is swinging at the top of our curtains and then sliding all the way down again!

Sam is a really cool two-month-old Bernese Mountain dog. As we say here, he’s a carpet. His joy is incredible and he loves his older “brother.” He is extremely affectionate and joyful but also cuddly, and he loves to sleep on everybody’s knees.

Here’s Juno, a Siamese Rescue cat (Snowshoe variety), in a rare quiet moment at about 5 months old. She likes to run and play! She loves to chase her older brother Oliver (also a Siamese Rescue) and imitate everything he does, including looking under the kitchen cabinet every day in case there’s a mousey like the one he found a few years ago. She’s not sure what she’s looking for, but she looks anyway. Juno is almost two now, and she loves food, toys, running up and down stairs, and snuggling with the humans who take care of her. We’d be lost without her!

Storm is growing so fast and loves to eat! At nearly four months of age, she’s already starting to calm down and become a couch dog. Just like any puppy though, she still has her wild streaks and loves to run and play with her big sis, Rogue the boxer. We can’t wait to see how big she gets and how lazy she becomes!

This is Linx. This innocent little kitten was left alone in the street in middle of a cold night. She cried out loud, breaking the silence. I could hear her from my home. I found her crawling in the wet grass, trembling. I decided to keep her. The street in front of my home is in the middle of the city but it’s near by a meadow. It sometimes happens someone that people abandon kittens by the side of the road. Maybe they just don’t know what to do after their cat has too many kittens.

Lola is quite possibly the friendliest Rottweiler ever. She was born on Valentine’s Day so maybe that explains it. She’s a very curious one and loves investigating everything that her nose passes by. Her favorite pastimes are car chasing, hide and seek, and trying to eat the water that comes out of the sprinkler.

This is our little British Shorthair, Fiona, at about six months old. She is very special because she is very loving and extremely soft. As our vet pointed out, she actually has a double coat of fur. She doesn’t say too much during the day but becomes very vocal between 9pm and 10pm when she would like her dry food topped up! Because she is quiet, she is occasionally MIA, like when she sleeps inside the bottom of the pool table! She lives with her brother, Finnegan, who is two years older. She is our kitty angel who is perfect in our eyes.

My name is Babooshka. I was born in Kent in England. My mummy went everywhere to find me and it took her nearly two years to do so, though she says I was worth the wait times a million! My favorite toys are my softies, especially bah-bah, which is a pink and blue hippo with squeaky feet. It was the first toy my mummy bought me. I live with my mummy Emma, my granny Val and granddad Pat, my uncle Tanzin the Pomeranian, and my auntie Jess the cat. My mummy says I’m her life, her world, and her all, and quite honestly she’s mine too.
