This is Harry, captured in the midst of a yawn. The third and final sibling to Spunky and Joe. His name is derived from the ‘hairy’… from which my mum named him for what resembles tufts of black hair on his otherwise white head. Both he and Spunky are biters of the family but Harry’s fur is the longest of them all. When relaxed he will gladly curl up and sleep on me and that is such wonderful feeling. I hope you like the three brothers. They are two months old now and can be quite a handful!

Aki’s mom says: Aki was born in Taiwan and now lives in Irvine, California. Aki’s father is a Border Collie and mother is a Beagle. She has the soft, black and white Border Collie coat, yet her hair is really short, like that of a Beagle. She is shy when it comes to strangers, but will shower you with love and endless energy once she gets to know you. She loves walks and lives for snacks, and also loves to nap with her mommy in the afternoons. Her favorite stuff animals are cows, as she looks very much like one herself. When she was still a tiny puppy, I could never get anything done if I took her out with me because people would just stop me and ask to hold and play with her. Everyone complimented on her extremely shiny coat and irresistible cute face. Aki is my companion and my best friend who keeps my going since she is my only family member here in the U.S.

This is Wonder Cat, our adorable little Siamese mix. She was such a sad little thing with worms and mites. But we fixed her up and she’s a big, healthy cat now.

kobe’s mom says: Kobe is a 3 month old Chocolate Lab. He has two homes in Northern California and Southern California so he does a lot of traveling with his parents, but he does not mind! He loves meeting new people because then he has more people to play with. Kobe loves all his toys and enjoys sitting on anyone’s lap. Kobe has a lot of energy and is always bouncing off the walls but he is also very affectionate. He is a great addition to our family… we love him very much!

This is Scout. She is very brave and not very bright. Scout even has her very own giant white dog, who grabs her by the scruff of the neck and drags her across the floor before grooming her with lots and lots of smelly doggy spit.

Lucy’s mom says: Lucy had a rough start…she showed up at my parent’s house, whining underneath their window early in the morning. They live half a mile back in the woods! She had traveled pretty far. She was covered in ticks and thorns and was pretty thin. We never saw any “lost” signs for her, so we figured someone dropped her off…which is so sad to think that she had such a horrible start. We can’t imagine why anyone wouldn’t love her…she’s so easy to fall in love with! We’re making up for the love she didn’t receive prior to us though. She made our hearts melt and we didn’t let my parents keep her, we had to have her for our own! She fits in perfectly with our family…there’s Casey the Cocker Spaniel-10 years old, Nikki the Miniature Schnauzer-9 years and Brinkley the Golden Retriever 1 year old! We tell everyone we’re trying for our own soccer team! Brinkley and Lucy are best friends and her favorite thing to do is bite on him with her piranha teeth…and he lets her! She’s very energetic and they chase each other everywhere! When she’s finally done playing, she makes the softest, sweetest snuggle buddy! Lucy’s best friend/brother Brinkley was featured also.

We recently took in two strays that were living on our property. Cosmo had two sisters that we adopted out, and now him and his momma have joined our two other kitties inside. Cosmo loves the endless supply of toys, food, and lovin’s that comes with being indoors. Oh, yeah, taking naps on the bed is a big plus, too!

Fosse’s mom says: Fosse is a very friendly Cavalier King Charles puppy. He loves being around people, playing with his toys, running in the park and licking people’s ears. He is extremely intelligent and learns new tricks very fast. He already sits, lies down and goes to bed on command. He’s working on his “roll over” trick which he hasn’t quite mastered yet! He is the perfect and most loving dog.

Pumpkin is my second rescue from our local feral mama cat whom we have since trapped and spayed. This is a rare moment of quiet for this little bundle of energy. We call her “The Litter Box Police” because after one of her sisters uses the box she’ll inspect to see if their “gifts” have been adequately covered. If not, she’ll tidy up.
